Indibet was established in 2020, and as its title suggests, this is a casino and sportsbook dedicated to India-friendly gambling. Indibet is licensed outside India, and this is what makes it legal in the country. While they may not offer their services in Hindi, English language casino and sports betting is supported.

This is a betting site that has the look and feel of a proper sportsbook. Yes, Indibet does offer casino gambling. However, that is really kind of its secondary function. Its primary service is sports betting, and Indibet puts a lot of effort into pleasing its client base here. There is a wealth of India-centric betting markets, such as cricket, kabaddi and more.

Our Experience with Indibet

We’ve tried to approach our Indibet review from a straightforward angle. For instance, we want to be unbiased and give the casino a fair shot to impress. For this reason, Indibet had no idea we were reviewing them. Moreover, we did so from the viewpoint of any random Indian player. This has enabled us to get an accurate idea of what the casino and sportsbook can offer.

The best place to start our Indibet review is to begin where any new player would, with the lobby. Much of this betting site is designed in a sportsbook style, even the casino. The casino could do with a more dedicated design and interface. However, as we’ve mentioned, the casino isn’t really the focus of Indibet. Instead, the site is more concerned with offering sports betting options.

Aside from being solely a sportsbook and casino, Indibet does have other options for bettors. Indians can choose sports exchange and live casino options to boot. This will certainly enable you to wager on seemingly anything you want, all under one roof. A single account with Indibet gives you access to the works.

Again, while we didn’t find navigating Indibet to be a treat, we can’t really complain about the service it provides. It’s probably not one of the best Indian betting sites, but it’s ok.  Let’s take a closer look at some of this site’s features next, starting with its reliability.

Is Indibet Reliable?

Any casino and sportsbook that is licensed are already going to stand out. Indibet is one of those. The site has obtained a gambling license issued out of Curacao. It is also regulated, ensuring that it offers a high-quality service to all Indian bettors.

Like most Indian casinos licensed offshore, Indibet is legal for Indians to play at. Moreover, it is also immediately recognisable. The brand is one of the Saint Lucia Kings, the renowned cricket team’s sponsors. Naturally, this reassures Indians that Indibet is a name that they can trust.

As far as responsible gambling goes, Indibet could do better. They have got self-exclusion tools in place, but they don’t really go overboard here. There are no deposit limits, loss caps or reality checks and timeouts. The result is that it looks as though Indibet is merely trying to get by with responsible gambling requirements. In short, they have done the bare minimum required. This doesn’t tell us that they care as much as they should about responsible gambling options. However, the tools they do have are no worse (or no better) than those found at other new casino websites.

Indibet’s Games

Indians can choose between “live” and “slots” sections. The “slots” part of the site does carry a few RNG (random number generator) table games. These games include Indian favourites such as Ludo, Teen Patti, and Jhandi Munda. Aside from those, slots make up the lion’s share of Indibet’s games. These are nearly arranged into genres such as Recommended, New Release, Player Favourites and Cards and Dice. New Slots, Virtual Games, Jackpots, Lifestyle, Fantasy, Sports and Big Jackpot genres are also available.

Indibet has quite a few developers kitting out its arsenal with games. Live dealer titles are provided by Evolution Gaming, Ezugi and Vivo Gaming. You can also find non-live titles from NetEnt, Red Tiger Gaming, iSoftBet, Pragmatic Play and more. In all, there are a couple of hundred games for you to play at Indibet and roughly fifty live tables.

Live table games include many of your favourites. Andar Bahar, Teen Patti, Automatic Roulette Speed Roulette and Instant Roulette come highly recommended. You can also try Cash or Crash, Hindi Roulette, or even Rock, Paper, Scissors. Other games include Football Studio, Monopoly Live, Dream Catcher, and Super Sic Bo. If you fancy something more traditional, baccarat, blackjack, roulette, Casino Hold’em, and Dragon Tiger games aplenty can be played.

Sports Betting Markets

Opting to place sports bets will see you able to explore many different markets. There is a dedicated cricketbook, and that is the place to head to if you want to bet on the game. The cricketbook carries matches from most major leagues, with an emphasis on Asian competitions. Live streaming of some local cricket competitions is made available, and there are highlights, too. If you’re only interested in cricket betting (and not other sports), the cricketbook makes the sportsbook irrelevant. Other good sites for betting on cricket are Dafabet Sports or Pure Win Sports.

The Bonuses at Indibet

When you start out playing at Indibet, you’re going to have several casino bonuses and promos to choose from. There is a Cricket Welcome Bonus, a Casino Welcome Bonus, even a Kabaddi Welcome Bonus. Before we get to those, though, it is worth looking at the no deposit deals.

Becoming a new player at Indibet and you can claim a Cricket Sign-Up Bonus. This is worth ₹50 and can be used to wager for free on cricket games. Alternatively, there is a Casino Sign-Up Bonus, and that is worth ₹50 to spend on roulette, blackjack, or slots.

After claiming these no deposit bonuses (if you want to), you can start to look at other deals. Cricket fans can look at the Cricket Welcome Bonus next. It offers a 100% match worth up to ₹10,000 on cricket games. The same offer is also available if you want to claim the Casino Welcome Bonus. However, that naturally can’t be used on sports bets and vice-versa.

Here are the all-important terms and conditions you need to know to claim either (or both) offers:

• Minimum Deposit Limit: ₹100 (on either or both bonuses)
• Wagering Requirements: 20x deposit + bonus (cricket), 50x deposit + bonus (casino)
• Validity Rules: Cricket bets must be worth odds of 1.80 or greater and less than 250.00. The casino bonus is only valid on slots. Wagering requirements must be met within thirty days.

More promotions

While those bonuses are sure to excite Indians, they aren’t the only deals you can snap up. IndiBet also has monthly deposit jackpot goodies. When you deposit ₹1,000 or more, you’ll be entered into a prize draw. That could see you win a wealth of amazing prizes.

Saturday nights are Casino Fever nights at Indibet. The betting site offers you 10% cashback on losses worth ₹1,000 or more. An Andar Bahar daily jackpot is up for grabs, too. This can yield rewards worth a share of ₹5,000.

If casino games are your forte, there are ample deals up for grabs. On Mondays, a Slots Mania offer offers an extra 10% on top of your winnings for 1,000 players. Sultry Sunday Slots can see similar reward offers, with up to ₹1,000 added on top of your winnings. Then on Freaky Fridays, the same deal is offered once more. On Tuesdays, Blackjack Cashback bonuses can see ₹1,000 added to the winnings of selected blackjack players. Finally, live casino players can get their share of the spoils, with the same offer available on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

There doesn’t appear to be a loyalty program in place at Indibet. However, there’s no shortage of promos. We are not huge fans of the wagering requirements attached to the casino bonus. They seem overly extortionate given what you can use it on.

Banking at Indibet

Indibet will typically accept the same array of payment options that other Indian betting sites do. In this, it is not unique. You’re looking at NetBanking, BHIM, UPI, PhonePe, PayTM, Google Pay, Skrill, Neteller, AstroPay and Bitcoin here. Indian rupees (INR) are naturally accepted, but this is true of almost all Indian-facing casinos and sportsbooks.

For the most part, Indibet’s payment options require a minimum deposit of ₹100. However, some of them have raised that limit to ₹500. The upper limit is common with e-wallets, cryptocurrencies, and more international payment options. Local Indian options typically have the lower limit in place.

Generally speaking (again, this can vary), the maximum deposit limit is set to ₹50,000. Some payment methods can support deposits of up to ₹4,000,000. You should not expect any delays whatsoever with your deposit times. The responsible gambling tools do not allow you to cap any deposits you make, regrettably. No added fees are applied for depositing into your Indibet casino/sportsbook account.

Cashing out your winnings is a bit of a cloudy affair. For instance, some players have reportedly had to verify their ID through a KYC process. Others have not. It may come down to how much you plan to withdraw. However, we can’t independently verify this.

Withdrawals

In terms of the withdrawals themselves, there is a minimum withdrawal limit of ₹1,000. That limit seems standard with all the casino’s cashout options. Withdrawals are capped at ₹200,000 per transaction. Again, we can’t verify whether that’s also a monthly limit or daily. In theory, Indibet should be able to process your withdrawals in under 24 hours.

However, it took around three days for us, and many other bettors reported the same. Three days is much too long to wait for payments for many players. This is especially true when you consider that rival Indian casinos and sportsbooks offer faster transaction times. On the upside, there are no withdrawal fees in place at Indibet.

Some Indian banks will prohibit transactions from Indibet. This has been a cause for concern for some players. You can easily get around this by using an alternative payment method. However, the fact that withdrawals don’t work out of the box is frustrating. This is an area where you really feel as though Indibet should be doing better.

Security and Regulation

Indibet holds a Curacao issued gambling license, and that means that fair play gaming is expected. However, this doesn’t mean that everything works as well as we might like. The casino games seem to feature fair RTP rates, and there’s a decent mix of them. The games are RNG-certified, and that’s what we want to see.

What we have noted is that despite being a globally known name, Indibet lacks responsible gambling tools. It has “some” tools here, but nowhere near enough. You can self-exclude yourself at any time if you suffer from the ills of problem gambling. However, you aren’t going to be able to put caps on your deposit limits. This just seems lazy. We would expect a renowned online casino such as this to make more effort in this department.

Indibet doesn’t mention SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. However, most casinos don’t need to do that nowadays. It goes without saying that the Indian casino is SSL-encrypted. Besides, its privacy policy and terms and conditions all but confirm that.

In terms of KYC, Indibet is a bit all over the shop. They require KYC documents from some players but not everyone. We assume this is down to how much you want to withdraw, but we can’t confirm it. When you are asked for KYC documents, they usually want your driver’s license, Aadhaar Card or Pan Card.

Customer Service

Indibet has both an FAQ and Contact Us page that you can head to for information. Info on promos and events can also be obtained via the “News” page from the lobby. You are free to peruse the casino’s market betting rules, terms and conditions, privacy policy and responsible gambling terms. They, can also be found in the lobby.

If you’ve got a question, it may be worth a quick visit to the FAQ (frequently asked questions) page. There, you can find information on a handful of issues. We don’t find the FAQ overly in-depth, but it does cover the essentials for the most part.

Of course, if you want proper support, there are options to assist you, too. Once more, Hindi support is not an option, with these features only available in English. That’s strange when you’re catering to an Indian audience. After you hit the “Contact Us” page, you will get a small e-form. There, you can enter your WhatsApp, e-mail, or Telegram address to start a chat. There is also an attachment feature if you wish to include KYC documents. This service should be available around the clock at Indibet.

Aside from those options, you can e-mail (ask@indibet.com) the support team. A WhatsApp number (+44 7591 926295) is also available, while direct Telegram messages (@indibetcsbot) are also possible. Expect delays of 2 minutes (live chat), 5 minutes (Telegram), 10 minutes (WhatsApp) or 24 hours (e-mail) for support.

Conclusion

Indibet is something of a hit and miss site. When it hits, we’re all happy. However, there are some glaring mistakes going on here, particularly relating to withdrawal and wagering terms and conditions. Oddly enough, there is no mobile casino or sports betting app in place. That seems bizarre for such a big site. Indian players will find things they like and things they don’t like here.
